Minecraft Port Checker / Troubleshooting Wizard

Build a Minecraft port troubleshooting plan for port 25565, home hosting, VPS firewalls, panel allocations, proxy networks, DNS, and CGNAT.

Build a Port Troubleshooting Plan

Use this wizard when a Minecraft server shows offline, times out, or only works on LAN. It separates local server startup, router forwarding, operating system firewall, provider firewall, DNS, SRV records, and proxy placement.

For deeper connection fixes, read how to check port 25565 and port forwarding not working.

    Important Limitation

The wizard does not claim to test your port from MineFixTools. It gives you exact checks to run from your machine, VPS, panel, or player network.

    FAQ

Does this browser tool open my TCP port?

No. Browsers cannot directly test arbitrary Minecraft TCP ports. The wizard builds the correct test plan and commands.

Do Java servers need TCP or UDP?

Normal Minecraft Java servers use TCP on the configured server port. Bedrock and Geyser setups usually need UDP separately.
